An organic economy relates in a healthy way to the natural world, consuming resources that are of value to human beings and releasing wastes that are of value to the biosphere, or at least do no harm. Equally importantly, an organic economy has a natural internal balance of growth, decline and change.
In 2006 I published (electronically) a paper titled The Organic Economy. It is a rather thorough conceptual outline of an economy that can operate in alignment with nature. I’m now working to present these ideas in a manner that is more immediately relevant to the challenges facing communities, businesses and individuals everywhere.
